You can choose from three display modes: the Default Mode, the Full Size Photo Display, or the Headlines View. Each method is displayed and discussed below. Although you can also have the system place borders around these display types, the examples below do NOT have the borders option turned on.

The AD sample above is the "default" display mode of Smart Photo ADs. If viewers find the AD is of interest, they must 'click' on the Camera Icon to view the full AD with the associated photoimage displayed. ( A "new" browser window is opened for this purpose, while the previous window continues to load/display the ADs ).
There are advantages to the viewer when using this display mode:
* faster loading/displaying of the ADs...
* Can quickly scan for ADs of interest...
* When an AD of interest is found, clicking on the Camera Icon
will open a new window, displaying the AD with photoimage.
The viewer can then "print" just that one AD if they wish...

If the Webmaster sets the configuration variable; $PhotoWithAD to '1', all ADs with an associated photoimage will display the entire AD in real time as shown above.
Although this display method may appear more attractive, there are some disadvantages:
* Much more time is required to load a page of ADs...
* Viewer cannot "print" just one AD of interest...
* Explorer 4.x viewers will have problems returning to
previous AD display pages because of caching problems
with Explorer 4.x ( Explore 5 works fine ).

If the Webmaster sets the configuration variable; $AdHeadlines to '1', only The AD Subject and Headline will be displayed to viewers as shown above.
If viewers see an AD of interest, clicking on the Camera Icon will open a "new" window and display the entire AD with associated photoimage. Advantages of this method:
* Very fast displaying of available ADs...
* Viewers will be able to print just the one AD
they selected to view...
The AD table border can be any size you wish. higher number, wider border. Set to '0' to turn borders off...
